K25 slide scan. Delivered 1977 as VH-ATG to Australian CAA. 1998 as C-FTAY (second use of registration on a Canadian F.28) to Canadian Regional Airlines. Transferred to Canadian North in 2001, active until about 2005.

This is the second F-28 flown in Canada with this registration. It was delivered to Australia's Department of Civil Aviation February 25, 1977. By the time the aircraft was sold to Canadian Regional Airlines in 1998, it was the last aircraft operated by that department, then known as AirServices Australia. Canadian North bought the F-28 from Canadian Regional in July 2001 and it left the fleet at the end of May 2012 .

The Australian civil aviation department's three F.28s were used for airways survey work, mainly navaid calibration. Note the additional flight survey instruments to the right of the Captain's main flight instruments.

This photo shows this long-serving flight inspection aircraft in its final colour scheme, returning home to the HdH hangar after a trip to inspect the RAAF Tindal navigation aids. This also happened to be the 75th anniversary of the formation of Australia's Civil Aviation Branch of the Department of Defence (later DCA and so on to Airservices Australia). Registered new to the Department of Transport on 25 Feb 1977 and sold overseas in 1997.

VH-ATG was delivered to the Australian Department of Transport, Air Transport Group, in 1977. It continued with the various successors to the department until 1997 when it was sold to Time Air in Canada.
