a well travelled 707. Delivered to Western in 1968 as N1502W. Before ending up with Arrow she spent time with Eagle Air as TF-VLG and EI-BLC with Aer Lingus (with some leases inbetween). After JW sold her again, in 1984, she soldiered on in China with Shanghai Airlines as B-2425, Air Tchad as TT-WAB and TT-EAP in the same country with Intair Chad. Sold on to Race Cargo Airlines as HR-AMA in 1992, Starflight as 9J-AFT in 1994, Impala Air Cargo as ZS-NLJ and finally to Occidental Airlines as EL-AKU. Operating for Occidental Airlines between December '95 and September '96. Ferried to Manston in February '97 for storage, spareparts use and planned scrap in '99. Broken up June 2001.

It was of origin N1502W with Western Airlines. Its last operator was Occidental Airlines. In between those two it operated with numerous airlines, of which one, coincidentally, was Aer Lingus as EI-BLC, an example of which I posted recently. It was eventually broken up circa 2001.

N1502W was the first of eleven registrations carried by this 707, delivered to Western in 7.68. After disposal in 5.80, lease operators included Eagle Air, Aer Lingus and Arrow before purchase by Shanghai Airlines in 10.85 (B-2425). Stored in HKG from 11.89, next served as a freighter for Chad but in 10.92 took up this Honduran reg although flying in Race Cargo colours, retained during the mere two months under the Star Flight name. Later had 9J, ZS and EL regs but b/u Manston 6.01
