slide scan from my collection; photo year is an estimate. - PK-MFP flew with Merpati Nusantara between 1977 and 1992. The Friendship was broken up at Surabaja in the late 90ies.

Previously VH-FNB with Ansett-ANA.

Under tow at Essendon. Later to Merpati as PK-MFP.

VH-FNB in its original tail markings and with weather radar. It had been delivered without radar but the loss of a Viscount in a storm in 1961 resulted in it being made mandatory.

This Fokker F-27-200 served Ansett from October 1959 until sale to Merpati in September 1977 as PK-MFP.

After 18 months with Airlines of New South Wales, VH-FNB was transferred to Ansett-ANA in May 1962. It remained with the Ansett group until withdrawn from use in 1976. -FNB was then sold to Australian Aircraft sales which found as buyer in Indonesia. It became PK-MFP.

VH-FNB was delivered to the Ansett group in December 1959. It flew with several airlines in the group before being sold in 1977 in Indonesia as PK-MFP. At the time of the photo it had recently emerged from the paint shop in the Ansett group's "delta" livery.
