Delivered to Inex-Adria Airways as YU-ANB then leased to Martinair as PH-MBY in 1981. Returned to Inex-Adria Airways as YU-ANB in 1983 who were renamed to Adria Airways in 1986. Reregistered as SL-ABA in 1991 then S5-ABA in 1993. To Venus Airways as SX-BBV in 1995 then to Valujet Airlines as N802VV in 1996. To Spirit Airlines as N804RA in 1998 then reregistered as N801NK in 1999. Withdrawn from use at Walnut Ridge, AR in 2007 and scrapped.

First flight June 11th 1981 and delivered new to Inex-Adria Airways as YU-ANB September 19th 1981. November 1981 PH-MBY Martinair (leased), February 1983 YU-ANG Inex-Adria retrurned. March 1986 Adria Airways, December 1991 rr SL-ABA, March 1993 rr S5-ABA and leased to British World. for 5 months. April 1st 1995 SX-BBV Venus Airways. May 1996 N802VV Valujet Airlines.. June 24 1998 N804RA Spririt Air. Later broken up. Seen at push-back from gate 38, to depart from rwy 06. A Hybrid livery, with tail and colours from the Inex-Adria period, and the tail cone in the new Adria colours.

YU-ANB was leased back by McDonnell-Douglas for a sales tour of Australia. No sales resulted but following deregulation, Compass Airlines briefly operated five in the 1990s.
