Preserved with the Ukrainian State Aviation Museum is this MiG-21UM in Ukrainian air force colours.

The MiG-15bis-ISh (Istrebitel Shturmovik - fighter, armored attacker), experimental attack variant with two wing-mounted beam-like pylons each capable of carrying two bombs in tandem or rocket launchers. Reports disagree on the number built, with one claiming only a single aircraft was built and another stating 12 were built. Bort 27 red is preserved in the excellent museum at Monino since 3 November 1961.

In the 12th Microdistrict of Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, this Yak-50, with bort 27 red painted on the other side of the aircraft can be found on a square amidst Soviet style apartment blocks. One of these holds a banner celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Soviet victory in WW 2.

Stored on the apron at Liepaja is MiG-21PFM, with code 27 red.
