This historic aircraft was the first Moth to be exported from the UK, being first registered in Australia as G-AUAE on 5 November 1925 to the Civil Aviation Branch, Department of Defence. It was re-registered as VH-UAE in 1930. In later years it was re-built to DH-60G standard and is preserved in immaculate condition today as one of the oldest aeroplanes still airworthy in Australia.

This 1966 Queen Air was imported new, as the registration implies, for the Royal Flying Doctor Service. It carried the US registration N9506Q for the ferry flight and was re-registered VH-FDV(2) on 19 April 1966. Subsequently sold and operated for a time by Skytours, which specialised in outback tourist flights. Currently based in Queensland, it flew in to the Wide Bay International Airshow each day for static display alongside a current RFDS King Air.

A long way from home, this Northern Territory-based RV-6 was visiting the Antique Aeroplane Association of Australia's National Fly-in. It was first registered on 22 November 1994. That IS a big boat for a joint that's a long way from the sea!

Built in 1972 and initially allocated N50462 but in all probability never wore it as it was registered in Australia on 2 April 1973. Commando Skydivers was one of the first civil parachuting organisations in Australia, being formed in 1961. For many years it operated out of Pakenham before that DZ was closed and they moved to Tooradin.
