Ex RCAF 9237, 44-74494. Still flies as N72FT marked as 44-11661 "Mustang Sally", and is reportedly now based in South Africa.

Ex G-AMPZ, EI-BDT, G-AMPZ, TF-AIV, OD-AEQ, G-AMPZ, KN442, 44-76540. Crashed on take-off at Berlin-Schonefeld on 19 June 2010 and damaged beyond repair.

First registered on 30 May 1933, and cancelled on 1 Dec 1946 having been broken up in 1942 after being withdrawn from use on 22 March 1940. The remains were saved by various groups until 2008, when they were donated to the RAF Museum. Skysport Engineering restored it to static display condition, and it was put on display at Cosford on 3 November 2011.

Previously used at Locking and Cosford for ground instruction. Preserved at Coventry since September 1981.

Leeming's other gate guardian (the other being Spitfire XVI TE356) since 1976. Preserved at the Jet Age Museum at Staverton since November 2014.

Retained by the Ministry of Aviation for trials (delivered on 28 April 1955) and never delivered to the RAF. Used at Yatesbury for ground instruction from 13 August 1957, then as RAF Stanmore Park's gate guardian from 20 May 1963 until it was sold to South Africa (Thunder City) on 24 September 1998. It was repainted in overall gloss black, and displayed on pylons as the Thunder City gate guard.

RAF West Raynham's gate guard marked in 85 Squadron colours from April 1973 (and previously at RAF Stafford) until it was scrapped in September 1994.

Sold at the Philips auction on 10th May 1983 for £1000 and moved to Monchengladbach, then in 1995 to the Parco Tematico dell Aviazione (Aviation Thematic Park) near Rimini, Italy. There it now carries the serial "XH707", a test aircraft used by Armstrong Siddeley.

Displayed at the RAF 50th Anniversary Royal Review air display. Used for ground instruction as 7975M at 71 MU Bicester, then moved to RAF West Raynham fire section on 30 April 1969 where it was burnt.
