Built in 1951 as WH589 and delivered to Australian Navy serving 805 and 724 Squadrons briefly. Sold in January 1969 becoming CF-CHB. Repainted in pseudo-RAF Tempest scheme as "WH589 HB-O". Flown to UK in late 1973 and wrecked in F/L at Munster 24 June 1979. Rebuilt as part of composite aircraft in USA.

Delivered to the Royal Canadian Navy in 1951, this Sea Fury was SOC in 1957 and went to a trade school in Calgary. In 1966, it went on display at HMCS Tecumseh, the Canadian Naval Reserve unit in Calgary. It was preserved outside with a Supermarine Seafire and a McDonnell Banshee in their RCN colors. Later all three were restored by the Aero Space Museum of Calgary and returned for presentation inside at the new Naval Museum of Alberta at the same site.

The real WH589 115/NW at Bankstown just before being shipped to Canada where it would be restored as CF-CHB. Fawcett Aviation/Illawarra Aviation had bought it in 1963 as a spare for Sea Fury VH-BOU which was used for target towing. After Canada, WH589 would go to the UK as G-AGHB and then to the US where it became one of three Sea Furies used to make racer N985HW "Furias" Two Furies without an Australian navy history have been painted as WH589: VH-HFX (later VH-ORN) and F-AZXL

VH-HFG was one of the Iraqi Furies, former Iraqi Air Force aircraft found in storage in 1979. It was registered in Australia in November 1983. Without the kangaroo roundel - it was not adopted until 1956 - its markings are the same as the Royal Navy. The K on the fin marks it as Australian. The 308 in the code is its former Iraqi serial. VH-HFG was sold in the US as N45SF in 2006.

Sea Fury modified for unlimited racing. Ex Royal Navy WG567 and Canadian Navy 871 Squadron.

Built as WJ288 in 1952 by Hawkers at Langley. It wears the markings and 'P-153' code of 804 Squadron when it served aboard HMS Theseus in late 1952. Displayed at the 2010 EAA Oshkosh gathering.

This Sea Fury FB.11 of 1831 Squadron RNVR based at RNAS Stretton, Cheshire, made a wheels-up landing after its engine cut out on take off. It was repaired and later went to Burma as UB460.

Built in April 1948 at Hawkers Langley factory. Served 1831 Squadron based at RNAS Stretton from September 1951 until September 1953. Temporarily based at Ringway whilst Stretton's runway was repaired.

Seen here in RCN colours somewhere in the Tampa area after a heavy downpour, this Sea Fury owned by John Williams made its first post-restoration flight only two months earlier. Originally WN482 for the Royal Navy but diverted off-contract to the Iraqi AF as '310' in 1953, sadly it crashed at Harlingen on 9.10.81

Apparently originally a Fury FB.10 two-seater delivered to Iraq as '324' in 1949. Debut in these colours last year. Ex N58SF/N1324 and rebuilt with a Wright R-3350, now masquerading as WH589 (the actual Sea Fury with this serial flies as N985HW and was in the UK in the 1970s as CF-CHB/G-AGHB)
