A65-94 was at one stage earmarked to be a target for cluster bombs. But that plan was dropped and it flew on with the RAAF for several more years. The Historical Aircraft Restoration Society at Wollongong bought it in 2000 and now operate it as VH-EAF.

A65-91 served with the RAAF from 1945 to 1986. It was sold on the civil market and became VH-TMQ.

Unit: 34 Sqn. The Rolls Royce and police escort departing behind A65-90 showed it was carrying a very important person, which was Canberra-based 34 Squadron's role. A kid in the middle of the apron with a camera was no cause for concern in the relaxed atmosphere of Australia in 1966. A month later the aircraft was retired from VIP duties and later transferred to the Navy as N2-90, eventually becoming VH-NVZ in its historic flight. It was scrapped in 2014.

A65-86 was with the Aircraft Research and Development Unit based at Edinburgh air base at the time of the photo. It joined the Australian Fleet Air Arm historic flight as VH-NVD.

A65-78 was with the RAAF from 1945 until 1997. In 1999 it was flown to the RAAF Museum at Point Cook. At the time of the photo it was being used to develop camouflage for RAAF P-3 Orions.

A65-65 served with the RAAF from 1944 to 1980. It went to the Papua New Guinea Defence Force in 1981 as P2-006. At the time of the photo, A65-65 was with the Aircraft Research and Development Unit based in Darwin.

N2-90 taxies for takeoff with only part of its serial applied and no code number. It would later be coded '802' and go on to fly as VH-NVZ with the Navy's historic flight.
