With 308 leading a commemorative formation flight with 509 and 707 on its wings, the trio Su-22s made a flight over Poland. All bases where Su-22s were based, or those who had a Su-22 connection, saw the flight passing by. On 11 September 2025, the Su-22 was said farewell in the Polish Air Force during a ceremony at the types last homebase Miroslawiec.

On 10 September, a small number of media and aviation enthousiasts were allowed on base to get their last operational view on the aircraft. This 3304 was parked in between some of its armament on a two-FITTER static. 3304 carries manufacturer date 1 February 1986 and was delivered to the Polish Air Force in that same year. The aircraft was last assigned to 21.BLT (Tactical Fighter Wing) which commanded the 1.Elt and 2.Elt (Eskader).

The aircraft was last assigned to 21.BLT (Tactical Fighter Wing) which commanded the 1.Elt and 2.Elt (Eskader). It has a 40 LAT (years) marking on the tail, referring to the 40 years of service within the Polish Air Force.

With its pilots in the cockpit, the RF-4C is ready for a ride to the runway of its Bergstrom, "Home of Tactical Air Command's Reconnaissance" as we have to believe the tower. This RF-4C was stored at AMARC on 25 July 1991 and received inventory code FP728. The aircraft was moved to HVF West, Tucson (AZ) for scrap on 8 September 2017.

Left for the 192nd Reconnaissance Squadron at Reno (NV) after service at Bergstrom in 1991. Was then stored at AMARC from 26 May 1995. The recce Spook received inventory code FP974. It was moved to HVF West, Tucson (AZ) on 13 January 2017 for scrap. Clearly visible on the left wing of this European One colored RF-4C is the AN/ALQ-131 Electronic Counter Measures pod.

After service at the home of TAC Recce, Bergstrom this RF-4C wasa transferred to the 192nd TRS at Reno (NV). Then it is was stored at AMARC with inventory code FP728 from 29 April 1993 onwards. It was moved to HVF West, Tucson (AZ) for scrap on 30 January 2014.

This Foxtrot flew first in March 2020 and carries FMS serial 16-07472. The heavy lift helicopter was delivered to the Netherlands on 31 March 2020, first via Fort Hood (TX) for training. It arrived in the Netherlands on 14 January 2021 and was accepted by 298sq Grizzly at Gilze Rijen on 1 April 2021. The Chinook is seen here while training with some sling loads.

A 1992 built 767 visiting Eindhoven air base. The transport aircraft was built as a 767-323ER and served American Airlines as N374AA up to August 2015 when it was withdrawn from use as a passenger aircraft. Cargo Aircraft Management took over the 767 and converted it at Tel Aviv to B767-323ERBDSF in December 2017. Sold to StratAir from June 2018 (operated by Northern Air Cargo). The registration changed to N351CM in July 2018. Sold to Air Transport International in April 2024 and seen as such in a boring white livery.

his Apache Guardian was delivered to the Koninklijke Luchtmacht (KLu, Royal Netherlands Air Force) on 24 January 2024 and accepted by 301sq "Redskins" at 18 April 2024. Its previous ID is still unknown. The basic airframe is one of 29 AH-64Ds the KLu has operated up to early 2024.

FMS serial 16-07473 was first delivered to 302sq at Fort Hood (TX) on 31 May 2020. It was transported to the Netherlands and accepted by 298sq on 6 May 2021. The US built hardened shelters at its homebase Gilze Rijen are a fine back ground.

Sadly no unit markings, but assigned to 301sq. The AH-64E Apache Guardian was delivered to the Koninklijke Luchtmacht (KLu, Royal Netherlands Air Force) on 1 May 2024. Its previous ID is still unknown. The basic airframe is one of 29 AH-64Ds the KLu has operated up to early 2024. Q-41 is seen here hovering to the runway of its homebase with the ATC in the back ground.

Paying a short visit to Eindhoven air base, this CN235 was absolutely kind to me as it took the right taxiway to the runway. This little transporter was first noted in November 2011 with its manufacturer and soon after delivered to the French Air Force.

FMS serial 16-00143, assigned to Wattisham. The Apache Guardian arrived from RAF Wattisham (UK) at Gilze Rijen for a fuel stop while en route up north.

Planned for a flight of three in the morning of 28 August. The quite new helicopter (delivered to the in May 2025) went tech and needed some attention. Its two other buddy's already took off and left Q-43 behind. Luckily for the crew, maintenance helped to get the Apache Guardian fixed and after some twenty minutes Q-43 rushed to the runway and took off to join the other two. On top of the rotors, the AN/APG-78 Longbow millimeter-wave fire-control radar (FCR) system is seen. A new feature for the Dutch air force since the introduction of the AH-64E in 2024.

This C-17A was delivered to the USAF on 9 December 2009. It had quite a journey to Gilze Rijen. On 25 August it had picked up two factory fresh Dutch AH-64Es (serials Q-47 and Q-49) with Boeing at Phoenix-Mesa (AZ). Just after take-off it went broke, so it flew to homebase McChord (WA). After repairs, it crossed the USA and the pond and arrived at Prestwick (UK) on the 26th. At that location it went tech again. Stayed there up to the 28th and eventually arrived at Gilze Rijen with the fresh delivery. It is seen here departing Gilze Rijen as REACH280. It went for Souda air base (Crete, Greece)

Became N5065T with Omega Air (Sep'87). Then this 3D-ASB (Sep'88). Became 9G-OLU with Phoenix Aviation (Gemini) (Jun'93). Returned to 3D-ASB but with Zaire Express ((jun'94), rr to 9Q-CKB (Oct'95). To EL-RDS with Air Cess (Feb'96), to Petersburg Aviation (Apr'97), returned to Air Cess (Sep'98). To 9G-AYO with Air Ghana (Dec'98), sold to Thai Flying Service (Jan'99). Then to Equaflight Service (Nov'00). Written off 7 Sep'01 in DRC.

This is Lockheed test registration N64854 (December 1984). It was registered to the Government of Jordan on 4 August 1986 and received JY-HKJ (HM King Hussein). The nice looking L1011, seen here while supporting a royal visit to the Netherlands, is clearly distinguished from other Tristars by its vast array of transmitters and receivers. In October 2001, the aircraft changed royal hands and became HZ-AB1 with the Saudi Al Anwa - Flight Department. The Tristar was withdrawn from use as such in January 2009 and stored at Victorville (CA) where it was last seen in 2020. Current status?
