Unfortunately I don't recognize the airport. Photographer and exact date not known. The name Dix Huit June refers to the famous speech of Charles de Gaulle to the French population in on 18 June 1940 from London, stating the war was not over yet and people have to unite to defeat the Nazi Germany.

On April 19, 1954, NZ5901 crashed landed at Mauripur, Pakistan. The accident left the aircraft badly damaged, its back broken, undercarriage collapsed and engines hanging from the wings. Parts of the aircraft were shipped to Bristol in the UK for rebuilding. Sources say only the tail and engines reused and the rest of the airframe scrapped. NZ5901 was lost during a supply drop in the Cameron Highlands, Malaysia on December 10, 1956 when it struck a ridge. Photo from: Des White/Air Force Museum of New Zealand

Demonstrator for Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea. Was written off when a brake cable failed at Wau, PNG, on October 23, 1947. G-AIMC rolled backwards down the steep airfield carrying the crew of three and nine passengers with it. Wrecked but no injuries to those on board. The crew were unaware that standard practice was to park sideways to the 1 in 12 slope. Note Qantas Liberator in background. Photo from: State Library of New South Wales
