This aircraft, which once served with the Japanese Maritime Self Defense Force as serial 4146, was photographed heading up a line of sister ships acquired for conversion to fire bombers, or possibly to support the conversion program, in the Hemet Valley Flying Service yard. However it was never converted but was spruced up and painted as Tanker 70 and now stands as a gate guard outside the co-located Hemet-Ryan Air Attack Base.
