Registered N5319G by 1974, the aircraft flew in Alaska until 1996 when re-built by Kenmore Air and sold as C-FGLB the same year. A former US Army L-20 (53-7902), this Beaver has been rebuilt by Kenmore Air twice. First in 1979, it was sold and went to Alaska as N1018G. After an accident 1n September 1995 (N62SJ), Kenmore Air bought the wreck and it emerged again in April 1996 to join the airline's fleet. The aircraft was noted in 2017 with a new blue and white color scheme.

This Beaver had first operated in Antarctica in 1956-58, then as NZ6001, but it was discovered that serial had already been worn by a Gloster Meteor. Shipped to Antarctica again in December 1957.
