Unusual camouflage scheme on this chopper. No info for this aircraft except the following from the late Joe Baughers excellent website. In 2013 located in a range target storage compound on the SE tip of Eglin AFB

George AFB Air Show 1978. Owned by the American Air Museum. Painted in the markings of the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA) which was the forerunner of NASA. Ordered as 45-21787, delivered to the USN as BuNo 84029 on 05 May 1947 as a P2B-1S. On to NACA as 137 where it was called 'Fertile Myrtle'. WFU at NAS Litchfield Park on 05Aug 1959 and later transferred to storage at MASDC, Davis Monthan. Restored and delivered to Oakland, CA in Nov 1969. To N91329 with the American Air Museum. Registered to N29KW on 30 Apr 1987. In 2023 dismantled at Fantasy of Flight, Polk City, FL.

George AFB Airshow 1978. 123rd FIS - 142nd FIG - Oregon Air National Guard. Retired to MASDC with inventory code FF394 on 19 Nov 1980. Currently preserved at Robins AFB, GA.

George AFB Airshow 1978. 8th TFS - 49th TFW from Holloman AFB in New Mexico. Retired to AMARC with inventory code FH0153 on 22 Mar 2007. To HVF West, Tucson, AZ. on 10 Aug 2011 and scrapped.

"BOEING 002" 767 operated for several days from March Field on some test flights to W-291. The aircraft at this point was barely a month old and you can see that the aircraft is trailing an air data cone.

Built for the USAF as 54-136. To MASDC for storage with inventory code CU030 on 21 Jul 1971. Purchased by the Foundation for Airborne Relief as N136AR for modification as a flying hospital but never converted. Official registration was apparently N136AB. Has remained at Mojave ever since. Registration cancelled on 11 Oct 2012. Behind is sister ship N201AR ex 56-2001.

Owned by Al Letcher & Associates. Built in 1947 and registered in the UK as VP773 but ntu and was sold to the RCAF as 17072 on 07 Sep 1948. Sold to the US as N6878D on 17 Jun 1958. The aircraft was substantially damaged while landing following an engine failure at Rochester NY on 06Jun09. Registration cancelled on 10 Sep 2014.

Operated by VA-22 - 'The Fighting Redcocks'. This squadron is still current in 2023 as VFA-22 with the F/A-18F Super Hornet. 160723 rolled into the sea off USS Carl Vinson CVN-70 on 29 Dec 1986 after the brakes failed during re-spotting.

Delivered to the RCAF in 1953 as 21024. It entered the US civil register as N157X in March 1965 and to N302FS in May 1977 with Flight Systems Inc. In the background is FJ-4B Fury N400FS. To N230CF on 22 Fen 2012 and still current flying in USAF markings in Dec 2023.

Operated by VAQ-129 - 'The Vikings'. This squadron is still active in 2023 and is the US Navy's only EA-18G Growler training squadron. 158816 was SOC on 06 May 2005. Scrapped in Jun 2007.

First flight on 09 Apr 1954 and delivered to 411 Squadron RCAF with serial 23215. Stored at Mountain View on 04 Mar 1964. To Crown Assets Disposal Corp 09 Sep 1970. To Flight Systems at Mojave, CA as N2291B in Jul 1978. I assume operating under a contract for the US Army and retaining its RCAF serial on the tail. Shot down by a Patriot missile over White Sands, NM on 27 Apr 1979.

Operated by VMFA-314 - Black Knights. This squadron is still active in 2023 flying the F-35C. 152975 was delivered to the US Navy as a F4H-1 and redesignated to a F-4B in 1963. Later upgraded to a F-4N. To storage at MASDC as inventory number 8F0129 on 19 Oct 1983. To HVF West, Tucson, NV on 09 Nov 2004 and scrapped.
