During the early 1950s, the RNoAF used a three letter code system for its aircraft. This remained on some aircraft such as the Otters. The type code was O and the individual aircraft identification in this case was AF, making the full serial O-AF. Delivered as part of the first batch of Otters in April 1954, O-AF was assembled at the RNoAF's main depot at Kjeller AFB. Along with O-AG, it was part of Operasjon Pingvin in 1958 operating on the Antarctic ice shelf. Sold as LN-IKI in 1967 remaining in Norway until 1983. Later N4683K, C-FWAF, and N63354. After touching down on Lac La Ronge, gliding in to the Transwest Air base on the shore to tie up for the night. The crewman is poised on the float to pass the mooring rope to a colleague deckhand who is waiting at the end of the landing stage. Delivered new to the Union of Burma Air Force in 1958 as UB651. Given a Vazar conversion to PT-6 turbine power by Aerolite Industries at Vancouver in 1990 and then served with Athabasca Airways at La Ronge. Joined the fleet of the newly formed Transwest Air in 2000.

Taxiing out from Victoria's Inner Harbour through the narrows for takeoff from the Outer Harbour. Delivered new to the US Army in 1960 as 59-2217. Became C-GOPP of the Ontario Provincial Police in 1976, later transferring to Ontario's Ministry of Natural Resources. Joined Orca Air in 1985. Exported to Australia as VH-TLS in 1987. Returned to Canada as C-FIPC in 1991. After conversion to Vazar PT-6 turbine power in 1993, became N53KA with Ketchikan Air Service. Joined the Harbour Air fleet as "305" C-GOPP in 1997.

Served with a number of Saskatchewan operators as C-FLAP from 1978, before moving to Quebec in 1989. Withdrawn from use in 2008 and put up for sale at St. Hyacinthe, QC in 2010. Bought by Harbour Air in 2011. After conversion to Vazar turbine power, the installation of panoramic windows, and a repaint in white and yellow company colours, joined the Harbour Air fleet as "319".

Coming in low over Victoria's hotel and apartment blocks to touch down in the Outer Harbour. Delivered new to the Union of Burma Air Force in 1961 as UB-657, later 4657. Became SE-KOX with a Swedish parachute club in 1990, after Vazar turbine conversion in Canada. Exported to the USA in 2005 as N406H. Bought by Harbour Air in 2006 as C-FHAH. Ferried to Malta in 2007 for services to the island of Gozo as 9H-AFA of Harbour Air (Malta). Returned to Canada in 2012 to rejoin the main Harbour Air fleet as "314" C-FHAJ.
