Originally 42-23482 with the USAAF, registered EC-AEJ for Iberia 13 April 1949. Retired in February 1967 and broken up at La Muñoza in November 1973 shortly after this photo was taken.

Ex 43-15810 delivered on 12 May 1944 and was transferred to India on 5 June 1944. The Dakota flew in support of the India China ATC, and later for the Indian Government. It became VT-CME on 16 July 1947 until 1957. The Dakota went to the Indian Air Force in June 1963 and was kept at Belgaum after its retirement. The other side of this aircraft is painted as BJ1045.

A WWII veteran delivered to the USAAF 5 April 1943 in North Africa, spent most of its life in France, with Aigle Azur, Armée de L'Air, Helicopteres Buzzichelli, Air Bretagne and Hemet Explorations. Arrived to Mallorca to became EC-530 and EC-FAH with Aeromarket. It was written off 2 March 1993 after engine failure on takeoff from Palma de Mallorca killing its two crew members on the first ever fatal accident at LEPA.

Ex 42-23937. Crashed 8 November 1963 while on approach to Mariehamn [EFMA] killing 22 occupants; 3 survived the accident. Former USAAF 43-48252, delivered to Türkiye on 6 December 1948. It is reported with code ETI-41 (1980) and later 12-041 and 1-041. The Dak was last assigned to 1 THKIKK at Eskisehir and was badly damaged in August 1994 when it lost its right engine during take-off from its homebase. Luckily, the aircraft was able to make a safe landing. The C-47 was damaged beyond economical repair and written off.

Delivered to the Hungarian Air Force as 206 27 March 1952, this Li-2T was transferred to Malév as HA-LIQ 20 March 1957. Returned to the air force 20 May 1964 and withdrawn from use during 1974. Stored at Budaörs until 1980 when it was transferred to museum as HA-LIQ. Seen here freshly painted and washed in the late summer sun.

First delivered to American Airlines as NC25629 "Flagship Kingsport" in July 1940, it served until 1949. It then briefly flew for Capitol Airways Inc. before passing to Ozark Air Lines Inc. who in 1957 re-registered it N137D. Retired by Ozark in 1967 it then passed through the hands of a number of corporate owners, including Air Exec (short for Air Executive Co.). This Ontario, CA based company, founded by James Webb and Russell Meek, was operational in the early 1970s. The aircraft was officially re-registered N29MA in December 1979, but that registration was never applied. It remained stored at Chino as N137D, which was still visible on the left-hand side of the fuselage at the time of this photo.
