Chad bought four Mi-35s, on top of the seven or eight Mi-24Vs they bought earlier from the Ukraine. They were not lucky with the Hind in their inventory. One Mi-24V crashed in April 2006, two former Ukrainian Mi-24Vs were written off in 2007 and dumped at N'Djamena, and another Mi-24V was written off in 2008. Of the four Mi-35s, one crashed in 2008 and one was damaged due to a storm in 2017. This Mi-35 TT-OAS was the one that was damaged while hangared during the storm.

The PAC750 continues to be a weird looking aircraft type. Here is one seen on Abache, in the far eastern part of Chad, close to Sudan. The aircraft supported UNHAS operations in the - at that time - massive refugee region.

The PAC750 is a weird looking aircraft type. The New Zealand built aircraft made its first flight in 2001 and up to date (2019) it is still in production. Some 200 have been built so far. The P-750 has a relatively high power-to-weight ratio, so its an ideal airframe for paradrops, but also for humanitarian operations in hot environments. This aircraft has small "NatureLink" titles below the tail.

As specified by the Geneva Conventions, aircraft of the ICRC are marked with the Red Cross insignia on a white background. This marking is displayed on the rear fuselage sides and often also on the fuselage belly, wing centre section or outer wing. In addition, the aircraft are normally painted white overall, although this is not compulsory under the conventions. The operator titles ICRC are displayed on the forward fuselage, often with the circular COMITE INTERNATIONAL GENEVE marking. Alternatively, the latter is displayed on the tail fin.
