Antonov 32 of the Fixed Wing of the then Afghan National Army - Air Corps. The 342 was delivered to the Afghan Air Force in April 1991 in a fine green/brown colour scheme. Late 2004, the aircraft was overhauled at Ivanovo-Severny (Russia) and redelivered to Afghanistan early 2005 in this boring overall grey colour scheme. The aircraft only continued operations for a few years as it was withdrawn from use in 2011. It was scrapped (unconfirmed) at Kabul in 2012.

Antonov 32 of the Fixed Wing of the then Afghan National Army - Air Corps. The 342 was delivered to the Afghan Air Force in April 1991 in a fine green/brown colour scheme. Late 2004, the aircraft was overhauled at Ivanovo-Severny (Russia) and redelivered to Afghanistan early 2005 in this boring overall grey colour scheme. The aircraft only continued operations for a few years as it was withdrawn from use in 2011. It was scrapped (unconfirmed) at Kabul in 2012.

Bell manufactur date 26 August 1981. The Jet Ranger was delivered to the Sri Lanka Air Force as CH557. It was damaged on 26 February 1988 while its pilots were practicing auto runon, they experrienced severe vibrations and made a seious hard landing at Katunayake. Luckily, the JetRanger could be repaired. It was reserialled to SHT-1104 and by early 2012 to this SHT-557. Here it is seen at its homebase, getting some maintenance. The helicopter is assigned to No 7 Helicopter Squadron.

Written off on 20 November 2011 after inflight fire in Afghanistan. The Cobra returned to Kandahar by road and was eventuall stricken on 8 February 2012. The Cobra is here assigned to the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable). It was deployed to Kandahar from late February up to November 2008. The attack helicopter assigned to HMM-365 reinforced from its original unt HMLA-167. They prepared themselves for Operation Azada Woza, a fight against a Taliban stronghold in Garmsir (Afghanistan) in May 2008.

Being prepped for another night mission over Iraq. This Fokker built F-16A (line number L-190) with FMS 81-0874 was delivered to the Royal Netherlands Air Force on 13 February 1985. It received a Mild-Life Update in 2000 and is seen as a F-16AM assigned to the 1(NLD) Air Task Force Kandahar during an anti-Taliban mission. The aircraft was sold to Chile and was delivered on 29 August 2011 and became serial 850.

Once Canadian registration C-GADQ. That registration was cancelled on 5 December 1990. This Bell 212 was shipped from Mirabel via Schiphol to Singapore in primer livery on 14 December 1990. After completion and painting it was delivered to the Sri Lanka Air Force with serial CH563 and was assigned to No 7 Helicopter Squadron. The helo was reserialled to SUH-4111 in 2010 time-frame and again reserialled to SUH-563 by March 2012. As such, the 212 is seen here getting an serious overhaul.
