-AKF was used in the development of the Yeoman Cropmaster, an agricultural aircraft based on the Wackett.

VH-AKF in the Bankstown graveyard with a pair of grounded Ansons. It has been fitted with a Yeoman YA-1 cockpit and rear decking as a mock-up after it had been withdrawn from use.

VH-AJH seen ahead of its transfer to the Airforce Association museum. Built as RAAF Commonwealth CA-6 Wackett A3-49, became VH-AJH in Apr 1946 and wfu in Jul 1947. Converted to Kingsford Smith KS-1 Cropmaster in Mar 1957, then to KS-2 Cropmaster in Aug 1957, and finally to KS-3 Cropmaster in May 1959. Last flight recorded in 1964 when it was grounded over concerns at the integrity of its glued wooden wing. Later displayed at the Queensland Air Museum.

Photo taken soon after being withdrawn from use. Fell derelict, parts were stolen and in a final insult, was wrecked by vandals while waiting to be removed by its new owner in 1976. Rejoined the register in 2000 as VH-WKT. It remains a restoration project using metal Yeoman Cropmaster wings in place of the original wooden wings wrecked by vandals in 1976.

VH-AIY was the personal aircraft of aviation pioneer Horrie Miller. It was displayed in Broome until 2002 when it was transferred to the RAAF Association Museum near Perth. The display building shows signs of vandalism in this photo. Its roof was repurposed has a shade area.

Withdrawn from use in 1960. Used as a gate guardian for Civil Flying Services until removed by the Moorabbin Air Museum. Fell into disrepair and engine taken for use in a Cessna C34. -AGP last reported as a flying restoration project using a metal wing from a Yeoman Cropmaster. The YA-1 Cropmaster was a development of the Wackett in which the suspect glued wooden structures of the Wackett trainer were replaced with metal

VH-BEC force-landed in desert 135km from Maralinga, South Australia, on January 14, 1962. Despite an extensive search, its fate remained a mystery until three years later when the crew of an Adastra Hudson spotted it. The aircraft was intact but 40 degrees off course. No trace of the pilot was found. In 1977 -BEC was recovered and restored as a static display.

A rare colour photograph of a Kingsford Smith KS-3 at work, supplied by Bill Boulden the chief pilot of Airwork. Only a handful of KS-3s were built using components from CAC Wackett trainers including the Warner Scarab engine. VH-FBD crashed on November 27, 1961 at Borden, Western Australia. Concerns over the Wackett's glued wooden wing resulted in the grounding of it, the remaining KS-3s and several other types including Avro Ansons. The continued development of the Wackett as a cropduster resulted in the Yeoman YA-1 Cropmaster with a metal wing.

At the time of the photo, A3-22 was on loan to the RAAF Museum at Point Cook. It was owned by the Moorabbin Air Museum (now Australian National Aviation Museum) and in 2018 still is. A3-22 is under restoration for static display at Moorabbin airport. Prior to the museum acquiring it, it had been VH-ALV until damaged in a take-off accident at Braeside, near Melbourne on August 26, 1968. Photographer not known. A3-22 undergoing restoration in 1988 in the RAAF Museum at RAAF Point Cook near Melbourne. It had been sold post-war in February 1946 for civil operation as VH-ALV, hence its survival.
