Photographer: Kurt Thomsen - The Canadian version of the F-5 has an interchangeable nose assembly, to serve either fighter and reconnaissance roles. This is designated CF-116A(R)

Photographer - not known. No date or location info. Delivered on 09 Dec 1968 as 116807, serial 14807 ntu. Straight to CFB Cold Lake with 419 Sqn for aggressor training coded 07. Was with 434 Sqn at Cold Lake by 1979. Used in late 70's by 'Rut Zulu' demo team. Full avionics upgrade in early 90's with 419 sqn in early 1995. One of last operational CF-5's. Stored in Jun 1995. To US civil register as N807LG in Jan 2012. To N807AV in Jul 2012. Registration canx 03 Jun 2014. To N807LG 18Mar20. Current in 2024

In display team colours. To Turkey as 3019 in 1990. Destroyed in an accident in 2001.

Nowadays preserved at the Canadian Aviation & Space Museum.

K-3003, one of the first Dutch NF-5As made its last flight on this day in 1986. It is seen here in 313sq markings arriving at the x-servicing at Gilze Rijen. It was soon after dismantled and transported by road to the Luchtmacht Electronische en Technische School (LETS, Air Force Electronic and Technical School) at Deelen on 22 Jan 1987. K-3003 was delivered to the Koninklijke Luchtmacht (KLu, Royal Netherlands Air Force) on 25 Apr 1970. The aircraft served as a gate guard at Eindhoven since 11 Apr 1991. A year later, the NF-5A was moved to Gilze Rijen and reserialled to K-3066 as a gate guard.
