Somewhat backlit to get a shot of this side of the new DC-3 in the miniature city of Madurodam theme park. This DC-3 originally N213GB was rescued from Florida in 2018. New in the miniature city of Madurodam theme park in the city of The Hague is this fully restored DC-3. In the future it will offer "flights" over the miniature town, in a mechanical way. It looks like a large jack will lift the fuselage. This feature is not yet ready. The DC-3 is ex N213GB which was transported by boat from Florida in late 2018. The fake registration PH-APM refers to Albert Plesman, founder of KLM in 1919, over 100 years ago. Note for photographers, it is pretty difficult to get the registration in on this side, which has the afternoon sun. Bring a long lens to allow a distant shot.

Turkish Charter airline Albatros

Maersk Aircraft operated for Icelandair in the summer of 1991 and 1992.

The 747 Classics of Atlas were always a regular in the hangars of KLM Maintenance during the 90s. N534MC is ex Philippine Airlines N741PR.

Onur Air operated two different A320s with registration TC-ONE. From April 1994 until November 1994 TC-ONE was cn 453, which was leased from ILFC for the summer. It went to LACSA in Costa Rica, and in April 1995 a factory-new A320 with cn 528 was delivered to Onur Air and again registration TC-ONE was used. This went to Air Jamaica in November 1998.

The Alfred Wegener Institut für Polarforschung was officially the registered owner of this short Dornier 228. This explains the registration D-CAWI. They now operate amongst other airplanes Turbo Dakotas for their Polar research programs. According to its "Umweltschutz in Bayern" titels, this Dornier 228 "Messflugzeug" is more concerned about the environment in Bavaria.

In 1992 Fokker was still producing aircraft, and trying to sell the Fokker 100 product at the ILA in Berlin. This airframe came of the productionline in April 1992. After being used for demonstrations in 1992 it began its operational life with Palair Macedonian in late Januari 1993. This adventure only lasted about 6 weeks. The airplane crashed during take off from Skopje on 5 March 1993. That unfortunately makes this a rare airframe, as it did even reach the age of 1 year.

Pretty disappointed that I didn't get a better picture of this Yakovlev 40. Although it also does paint a nice picture of the time, looking at the man with his video camera.

Dornier 228 demonstrator, this airplane eventually found an operational life in Africa.
