Delivered new 7th March 1962 and retired at VABB (Mumbai) 29th July 1980, scrapped Dec 1984

Delivered new 19th Feb 1960 and on the 22nd June 1982 the crew initiated a go-around after a heavy landing on runway 27 at VABB (Mumbai) and a subsequent bounce, accompanied with a wheel well fire warning. The Boeing lifted off, but descended onto muddy ground and broke up.

Delivered new 22 April 1961 and withdrawn from use LLBG (Tel Aviv) July 1984, scrapped but fuselage and cockpit on display in USS Intrepid Museum. As of 17 April 2022 the cockpit is on display at the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Uniondale, NY.

Ex EL-AL 4X-ATC. Later to Wolf Aviation as 9Q-CWR. Damaged and withdrawn from use circa 1984.

A former BOAC aircraft

After withdrawal from service, 'PFJ was preserved at Cosford for many years before being dismantled. The front fuselage survives at The Museum of Flight, East Fortune, Scotland.

Delivered to El Al in 06/61 as 4X-ATB. A terrorist hijacking incident took place on board on September 6, 1970, but the aircraft was not badly damaged and continued to serve with El Al and later Arkia until 1985. It was returned to Boeing for the KC-135 conversion program, but Boeing chose to donate the aircraft to Berlin's Technikmuseum in honor of the city's 750th anniversary in 1987. Originally placed on public display in Lufthansa colors with the fake registration "D-ABOC," the aircraft was moved to a remote corner of Tegel airport around 2000 to serve as a fire trainer. Left derelict, it was scrapped in May 2021.

This must be an interim finish, as the fuselage titles are British Airways, but BOAC is still on the engine pylons.
