Inside the hangar at Planes of Fame Air Museum. Built in 1952, this airworthy Silver Star has been used as the pace plane for the Unlimited Air Races at Reno. The Silver Star was a T-33A trainer license-built by Canadair. The T-33A was developed from the F-80B fuselage which was lengthened by 36.6 inches to accommodate the additional seat.
