This aircraft, which is usually exhibited in the Palm Springs Air Museum, was being towed in the "Parade of Planes" from Palm Springs International Airport through that city's streets to the downtown Conference Center where it was going to be on show at the 2015 Flying magazine Aviation Expo. Location: East Alejo Road junction with North Cerritos Road. Coordinates: 33.830377 & -166.524483.

Built for the USAF as T-33A 51-4033. Transferred to the US Navy as TV-2 126591. Redesignated as a T-33B in 1962. Sold as N335V in 1966 then N6633D in 1969. To the Palm Spings Air Museum in 2007 and maintained in airworthy condition in USAF markings as 14033.

This T-33 was built under a USAF contract as 51-4033, then transferred new to the USN as TV-2 (T-33B) Bureau Number 126591. When I took this slide it was parked on the Flight Systems, Inc. flight line at Mojave, but I don't know if it was owned by them. It is now part of the Palm Springs Air Museum Collection and is in airworthy condition.
