In 1990 it was transferred to Strategic Air Command Museum at Offutt AFB, Omaha but is now on display in the new buillding when the museum transferred to Ashland. It has been on display as a North Vietnamese aircraft '4422' but after refurbishment is now in these Soviet markings.

This strange monument is situated at Bukittinggi's former airfield. During Indonesia's independence struggle, the real RI-003 (RAF serial AX505) crashed on its way from Burma to Bukittinggi in December 1947. The crew were killed, among them Halim Perdanakusuma, who gave his name to Jakarta's military airport.

This strange monument is situated at Bukittinggi's former airfield. A rare K5Y 'Willow', one of a number of leftover Japanese aircraft used by the fledgling Indonesian air force. The Indonesians called the type Cureng, or Tjoereng in a Dutch-influenced spelling, hence the serial. Apparently it's a word of Japanese origin meaning 'intermediate trainer'.
