Formerly A94-353 and F-8622. Pekanbaru City isn't pretty, but this bird certainly cheered the place up! Indonesia bought 18 Avon Sabres from Australia in 1973, and another five from Malaysia three years later. They were withdrawn in the early 1980s.
Ran off the end of the runway at Red Lake, Ontario in 2000, due to engine trouble on take off, causing damage to the belly. It was then purchased by Buffalo Airways, repaired to ferry condition and flown to Yellowknife. In 2006, this aircraft was restored to flying condition. The aircraft was written off after a forced landing at Norman Wells Airport on September 25, 2015.
