This unknown, ex-Soviet MiG-21 is preserved as a Monument to the Victory over Fascism in this town in SW Poland. It has fake Polish AF markings on the underside of the wings but the Fishbed-C never actually flew with them. If anyone has any info about its service history, then please get in touch.

The Aviation Technical Museum first exhibits were aircraft which required maintenance and had been sent to Luhansk Aircraft Repair Plant. Some aircraft remained there, and subsequently were written from use and preserved for display in the museum. MiG-21F (72) 21 blue is a rare early F-variant of the successful MiG-21.

This unmarked former Russian MiG-21F is preserved in the Polish town of Szprotawa, that used to have a Soviet base. The aircraft was placed here in 1985, with Polish markings added. The aircraft remained in place, but the Soviet stars were removed indicating the changed relationship between Poland and Russia.

This Fishbed-C was originally with the Indonesian AF (serial ?) but was acquired by the USAF for use in Project Constant Peg as 60-2105. In 1990 it was transferred to Strategic Air Command Museum at Offutt AFB, Omaha but is now on display in the new buillding when the museum transferred to Ashland. It has been on display as a North Vietnamese aircraft '4422' but after refurbishment is now in these Soviet markings.
