On display at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. Atlantis was the fourth operational Shuttle to be built, flying its maiden flight in Oct. 1985. It flew a total of 33 missions, including the final mission of the Space Shuttle program in July 2011. A look inside the payload bay shows the rear pressure bulkhead, external airlock, the Canadarm robotic arm and the electrically deployed payload bay doors.

On display at Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center, National Air and Space Museum. Named after a sailing ship that had pioneered scientific research, Discovery flew its first mission in 1984 and last in 2011 for a total of 39 spaceflights, more than any other Space Shuttle or spacecraft. It spent 365 days in space and clocked more than 238 million km. Reinforced carbon-carbon on the nose cone differs in color with the tessellation of 30,757 silica tiles forming the heat shield.

The Northrop M2-F3 was a heavyweight lifting body rebuilt from the Northrop M2-F2 after it crashed at the Dryden Flight Research Center in 1967. It was modified with an additional third vertical fin - centered between the tip fins - to improve control characteristics. The "M" refers to "manned" and "F" refers to "flight" version.

After seeing Jeff Dunham live at the Theatre in the Woods, I noticed this Gulfstream on the Aeroshell Square. Light was not that bad so I decided to take a few shots. First while lying on the ground, then I saw the GPU standing next to me, so I climbed on it which proved a much better vantage point. The pod on the aircraft is called the UAVSAR pod and contains a ground mapping radar developed by JPL.
