Air Zimbabwe made a brief re-appearance at LGW in 2011 after a long break, this flight delayed by 24 hours giving a first opportunity to shoot the new simplified colour scheme. The old scheme was unbeatable though

Of these, Z-WPJ was seriously damaged after collision with five warthogs during take-off at HRE on 3.11.09
