10/71: TOS USAF. 1972: 355th Tactical Fighter Squadron, 354th Tactical Fighter Wing, Myrtle Beach AFB, SC. 9/72: Deployed to Thailand for combat in Vietnam, returning to the USA by May 1974. It was flown by Maj. Colin A. Clarke on a 9hr rescue support mission for which he received Air Force Cross. By 1977: 120th TFS, 140th TFG (ANG), Buckley AFB, Denver, CO. 31 Jan 1992: Flown to the National Museum of the USAF.

This aircraft was bailed from the USAF to Lockheed for use in Operation Hourglass, as part of the Electra program. Although the Allison 501D engine was proving reliable, Lockheed flew the aircraft for 30 days on a carefully planned 'airline' schedule in order to test its durability for commercial operations, which involved much longer operational days and multiple daily flight cycles, than the engine had thus far experienced in military use. This F-4G was later converted to QF-4G and was lost as such on 23 May 2000.

90th TFS, 3rd TFW with eight F-4Es were deployed from Clarke AB, Philippines to RAAF Base Pearce October 1978-November 10978. While they were here they carried out dissimilar Air Combat Exercises with A-4Gs from 805 NAS. The aircraft carried a variety of underwing ECM depending on the sortie flown. We were asked not to "zap" the ECM gear, the external tank surface was the popular choice for the "zaps" also just behind the intake lips.

This F-16B was delivered to the USAF in '83 and delivered to Shaw AFB 363rd TFW. It then served Homestaed AFB with the 309th TFS before it was transferred to the 194th Fighter Interceptor Squadron in May'89. From Mar'92, the unit lost its interceptor designation. Early '92, the dual was transferred to the 159th FS of the Florida ANG and in late '95 to the 111th FS of the Texas ANG. On 18 Oct'95 it was stored at AMARG with inventory code FG0336. It was transferred to Ogden ALC and modified for a sale to Jordan (as 235) in December 1997. It was then sold to Pakistan on 27 April 2014 as 14627.

This Phantom was just withdrawn from service when pictured in August 1989. It was prepared for preservation at Fresno.
