This Pützer Elster B, once operated by the Luftwaffewas as 9707, is preserved inside the Fliegerhorstmuseum Leipheim. The Elster was the first aircraft produced in Germany after WWII in any significant numbers. The Elster B was the main production version, operated by the Luftwaffe and Marineflieger sport flying groups. These aircraft were initially operated with civilian registrations but were allocated military serials in 1971. In 1978 the aircraft were retired and found their way the civilian market.

Wfu at LwSchleuse 11 on 09 December 1986 with TT2.405 flight hours and stored in airworthy condition as reserve aircraft. Preserved at the entrance of Maschinenbau Haldenwang since 1999.
