This frame was originally built as a F-27 (note the round window outlines still visible) but subsequently converted to serve as the second Fokker 50 prototype and is now on display outside the Aviodrome at Lelystad.

This aircraft, the prototype Fokker 100, is seen as the nosewheel touches on landing at Farnborough. This was the first aircarft powered by the Tay engine and the logos of the aircraft customers can be seen on the fuselage.

PH-DMO was operated by a string of airlines on lease, both under its Dutch registration and on other registers. It was eventually converted to a freighter and sold in India as VT-CAA in 2005

This Friendship was eventually put on poles in the pond at the Anthony Fokker Business Park at the former Fokker factory site. It is painted as the prototype (c/n 10101) although this is rather awkward as it's a stretched F.27-500, formerly N19XE.

Nicely preserved at the Aviodrome in her original demonstrator colours, the second prototype Fokker Friendship had a long career with LTU, IFG and WDL as D-BAKI before acquisition for preservation in 1995. Actually the third F27 built, as the second was a static test airframe; parts of prototype F27 PH-NIV's fuselage are stored behind one of the hangars at Lelystad
