The aircraft has a large Australian roundel on the side of the starboard engine, the reason for which is not known. There is also some 'grafitti' painted below the cockpit window showing a Black Swan and three words, the lower of which is Australia.

Delivered to the Royal Navy as XT434 in 1965. To Lee-on-Solent for use as ground trainer A2643 in 1992. Moved to Fleetlands in 1997. Sold to Everett Aero, Sproughton, Suffolk in 2008. Registered as G-CGGK in 2009 and based at Breighton. Still painted in Royal Navy colours as XT434.

This C-1A was assigned to the USS Ranger. The USS Midway and the Ranger were both operating west of the Philippines in the South China Sea. US Bicentennial markings are on the a/c. This slide was taken from the LSO (Landing Signal Officer) platform on the Midway.

An E-2C of the Naval Strike and Air Warfare Center (NSAWC) "Top Gun" used for adversary training. The NSAWC trains 4-6 Air Intercept Controllers in each class on advanced command, control, and combat communication skills. They are completely integrated into the course and participate in most of the training missions. These "AIC" students, some of whom are E-2C/D Hawkeye Naval Flight Officers, go back to their Carrier Air Wings after graduation and are given the responsibility of training all the air controllers and fighters in their Carrier Strike Groups in the art of air intercept control.

An Australian built Mustang. Sold by the RAAF in 1959, it was shipped to Canada in 1967 to become CF-WWH. Operated as a four-seater with a CF-100 canopy. Sold in the US in 1971 where it became a warbird. Was N7496W in 1984-1995.
