The volunteers at the Avro Heritage Museum have done a superb job to restore this Vulcan to its former glory, sporting the all white 'anti-flash' paint scheme. It now resides at the museum, sadly all that is now left of the old British Aerospace/BAe Systems factory and airfield at Woodford, Cheshire, where the Vulcans were built.

One of the Patrouille de France aircraft arriving for the Woodford Airshow held the following day. This was my place of work where photography was forbidden, a rule most people ignored the day before the Airshow. The slide has faded really badly but has recovered to an almost unbelievable degree with the miracle of Photoshop.
