This was the second Viscount prototype, fitted with short fuselage and two Rolls Royce Tay turbojets for test purposes. This appearance at the 1950 Farnborough SBAC show was its only public display. Latterly mainly used by Boulton Paul for control systems tests. Damaged beyond repair by fire in a wheel well during 1958 and scrapped at Seighford in 1960 with 110 total flying hours.
