This Caribou became to EC-GQN in 1991.

Frits Koolhoven's designs bore his initials whoever he worked for, and here his name is also painted on the rudder of a NVI FK.31 reconnaissance fighter. Koolhoven himself is the large man talking to an officer to the left of the tailfin. First flown in 1923, the FK.31 set some world speed records with payload flown by Charles Descamps in January 1925, but was a failure in Finnish and Netherlands East Indies military service. A Netherlands army fly-off against the Fokker C.V was lost in February 1924. This is the prototype of an improved version, seen during another unsuccessful pitch against the C.V on 11 May 1925. On 12 August 1960, this Valiant crashed on the disused airfield of Spanhoe in England, in an attempt to make an emergency landing shortly after take off from RAF Wittering. This photo is on file at the Gilze-Rijen Heritage Room.

This Chickasaw was later delivered to France and is now preserved in Germany in USAF colors. This pic is on file at the Gilze-Rijen Heritage Room.

Soesterberg based F-100C of the 32nd FDS, with Wolfhounds badge and red tail with a small Dutch flag. The 32nd, which received the F-100C in 1956, was redesignated 32nd TFS in 1958, and then 32nd FIS in 1959. The unit was officially assigned to the 36th FDW in 1957. This aircraft went back to the US after the 32nd received F-102s in 1960. There it crashed on 30 January 1967. This pic is from the files of Gilze-Rijen Air Base.

Pictured during a squadron exchange with the F-15C/Ds of the Soesterberg based 32nd TFS. This Tornado F3 was delivered to the RAF on 30 August 1988 and served since 229 OCU, 1435 Flight, 56 Sqd, 5 Sqd 111 Sqd, 43 Sqd, 25 Sqd, and 23 Sqd. This swing-wing aircraft was moved by road to Metal & Recycling Ltd at Edmonton and subsequently scrapped by early 2006.

Pictured during a squadron exchange with the F-15C/Ds of the Soesterberg based 32nd TFS, this Tornado F3 of 23 Sqn. The F3 sadly crashed 60 miles North East of Newcastle on 7 June 1994. At that time it was assigned to 111 Sqn.

This F-4K was delivered to 43 Sqn in 1969 and is seen here two years later, still carrying old style RAF markings. It visited Soesterberg for a squadron rotation with 32nd TFS in July 1971.
