With less than 300 units built by CASA (now Airbus Military) and Nurtanio/IPTN since 1986, the CN-235 is not the most successful aircraft, but nevertheless a rather interesting one, as it is operated in small numbers by many Air Arms around the world. The Indonesian AF has so far aquired twelve CN-235's, with A-2302 being the 2nd one (built in 1992). In June 2019, this airframe has been transferred to the newly established Skadron Udara 27 and based on the island of Biak (Papua province). It has since also received the typical glossy three tone camo livery know from the TNI-AU's C-130 fleet.

Travira Air is a Jakarta based Charter Airline, operating both rotary and fixed wing aircraft. It's S-76, Bell 412 and AW139 helicopters are contracted to the oil and gas industry out of Balikpapan (East Kalimantan), while the ATR-42/72, Beech 1900 and Cessna 208 aircraft can be seen throughout Indonesia. The S-76 pictured here was sold to South Korea where it became HL9636. Registration PK-TVP has been re-assigned to a Viking DHC-6-400 Twin Otter, which was delivered new to Travira Air in late 2021.

With a total of 123 MBB BO-105CB/CBS licence produced by Nurtanio-IPTN in Bandung (becoming NBO-105's), this rugged helicopter enjoyed high popularity among the armed forces and private operators of Indonesia. HR-1518 pictured here is one of at least seven NBO-105's operated by the TNI-AU (Indonesian AF) but assigned to the national SAR agency, better known as BASARNAS (Badan SAR Nasional). In addition, the agency recently added at least two AS-365N3 plus one AW139 to its fleet. All BASARNAS helicopters are kept in this typical orange paint scheme.

A total of sixteen Korean Aerospace T-50's have been procured by the TNI-AU and delivered to Skadron Udara 15 based in Iswahyudi as from 2013, replacing the BAe Hawk Mk53. The T-50's carry the serials TT-5001 through TT-5016, and "TT" stands for "Tempur Taktis" or Tactical Fighter. Unfortunately, TT-5007 was lost during a rehearsal for an open day in Yogyakarta on December 20, 2015, killing both crew.
