The fifty CH-135s (originally designated CUH-1Ns) interestingly had US serial numbers for paperwork that were never actually applied. This one is 70-15655 but delivered as 135106 April 19, 1971. Struck off strength in 1999 and stored at Mountainview, Ont, it was transferred to Colombian Army (EJC-227) in January 2001. With new serial EJC-4227 after 2013, the helicopter crashed at Quibdo, Colombia on March 19, 2023 after loss of control at low level. While video of the incident points to loss of the tail rotor, official cause has not been determined at the time of uploading.

WestJet has partnered with Texas based, Aero Design Labs, to retrofit this 737 with their drag reduction kit which includes modifications to the aft wing root faring and flap track fairings. Seen here on its first day in service with these modifications on arrival from Toronto as WS715.

This 1958 United Airlines DC-8 got a new lease on life in 1983 when it was re-engined as a DC-8-71. Sold in 1989, the aircraft was leased back until returned to the lessor in 1991. Converted to a freighter, it was leased to Southern Air Transport 1992-93. It was next leased to Air Transport International in 1993 as N823BX and flown for Burlington Air Express. Stored at Mojave, CA circa 2009, the aircraft was later scrapped.

Gulf Canada bought this British Aerospace HS-125-700 new in 1980. In 1992 the company had become Gulf Canada Resources in big energy dealings that nearly gave me a head ache trying to follow and the aircraft was sold. First registered N7UJ and N86D with off shore construction company McDermott Inc, it was later N497PT, N804CS and N212XX with several leasing companies.

Delivered to the United States Army in January 1957 as 55-3324, this Otter spent it's entire military career in Europe and was sold by tender with seven other Otters in December 1971. Pictured recently sold to Tyee Airlines as N9895B, the aircraft would fly in Alaska until sold to the owner of Buffalo Narrows Airways as C-GDOB in 1996. On the ferry flight to Canada May 9, 1996, the aircraft crashed in Telkwa Pass near Terrace, BC during poor weather.

Registered to Ilair AG when pictured, this Falcon 50 is current with the French Air Force as F-ZWMT / 34 at the time of uploading.

This DC-3, origianlly 44-76869 with the US Army Air Force, was in Salair's fleet 1989 -1996. It's pictured in the second color scheme it wore with the cargo airline.

Delivered to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police on February 25, 1959, CF-MPX was sold in 1979 as the RCMP looked to modernize it's fleet. Pictured with Harbour Air (June 1985 - June 1986), one of the ten operators that flew it 1979 - 2010. Sold in the USA as N93PC, it was converted to a Texas Turbine Otter and flew for Rediske Air, in Alaska. On July 7, 2013, the aircraft tragically stalled on take-off at Soldotna Airport, AK and burned. The aircraft was later determined to be outside of the weight and center of gravity limits.

This Grumman G-73 Mallard, CF-HPU (msn J-9) was operated by 20th Century Fox Film Corporation in California in 1948-1954. To Pacific Western Airlines (PWA) as CF-HPU and named Kitimat Princess while supporting construction of a aluminum smelter on the northern BC coast. To BC Air Lines (BCAL) 1959-1973; back to PWA when it bought BCAL. Sold to West Coast Air Service in Dec. 1973. Exported to USA in January 1975. To Chalks Int'l Miami in Jun 1975. Converted by Frakes Aviation to a G-73T in 1984. Sold to Virgin Island Seaplane Shuttle as N609SS. To Caribbean Airline Services 1990. Wrecked 1994.

Delivered four days ago to Porter is their 8th E195-E2. It operated it's first revenue flight today into YVR but ended up cancelling on the outbound due to the storm system on the East Coast. Here it is getting towed to the South Pad for overnight parking.
