Built in 1981 as PT-SDV, delivered to Royale Airlines as N679RA and flew with them until withdrawn in April 1988. Sold to Nordeste Linhas Aereas in October 1988 and to META - Mesquita Transportes Aéreos in December 1994. Withdrawn from use in 2011 and scrapped at Belem (SBBE/BEL) in July 2017.

The Aviation Technical Museum first exhibits were aircraft which required maintenance and had been sent to Luhansk Aircraft Repair Plant. Some aircraft remained there, and subsequently were written from use and preserved for display in the museum. This Su-15TM still wears a faded red star.

Following the GCA-2A Helidyne compound helicopter variant, the GCA-2 was developed further as the more conventional GCA-2C, capable of carrying three litters. According to the Gyrodyne Helicopter Historical Foundation, this airframe, which has been preserved at the Cradle of Aviation Museum, was still the rebuilt original GCA-2 prototype N74101, and thus probably the original Bendix J prototype.
