'Bomber 365' taxying in after the weekly cobweb-removing test flight. I believe the turbine conversion was done locally using an STC'd kit to incorporate a TPE-331. First registered on 12 November 1999.
This Moorabbin-based Skyhawk was just passing through Bendigo when I caught it. It was registered new in Australia on 6 November 1981. The P model was introduced in 1981 and continued until Cessna suspended Skyhawk production in 1985.
This 1967-model Centurion was first registered in Australia on 5 April 1968. It was allocated the US registration N5959F, but this was probably a 'trade plate' and never actually worn. It seems to have spent part of its life in Darwin, but is currently based in Mount Gambier, SA.
This Nanchang is normally Goolwa-based, but was visiting Warbird Adventure Flights' Bendigo base. It has acquired a neat spinner since I last photographed it. It was imported in 1981 ex PLAAF and assembled in Canberra, being first registered on 21 August that year.
