"RAID 92" KC-135R rolling out on runway 32 after a mission to refuel Navy/Marine aircraft

Operated by Esc 501, in company with 5156. Twenty Shrike Commanders were delivered to the FAM in 1974/75 and served primarily in the light reconnaissance and survey role, the type was withdrawn by 2003 and most survivors, including 5168 were later scrapped.

Ex 56-0508 delivered to Mexico in 1988 as FAM10606. Re-serialled 3606 by 1999, withdrawn circa 2007 and placed on display within the base at Santa Lucia. Refurbished by 2022 to become part of the new Mexican Air Force Museum at Santa Lucia wearing its original FAM serial 10606.

Displayed as seen here for several years beside a main access road on the base and moved circa 2010 to join the collection of the Museo Militar de Aviacion.

The Mexican AF used 20 Beech Musketeers in the 1970s. '04' is one of two later used as ground instructional airframes by EMTEFA, the Escuela Militar de Tropas Especialistas de la Fuerza Aérea at Santa Lucia. Still preserved with the unit at time of upload, the other aircraft '01' is now in the Air Force Museum.

One of two impounded former Colombian Caravelles in use with the Mexican Air Force for a short time from 1996. 10507 was was a former Iberia aircraft (EC-BIF) and Aerolloyd (D-ABAK) and flown by Aerosucre (HK-3676X) and Aerogolfo (HK-3869X) in Colombia. Both were out of service and stored at Santa Lucia by February 2000 and were relocated to the Parque Aviacuatico los Manantiales near Tuxtepec to the North West of Mexico City by 2006.

Delivered to Air Liban in 1957 as OD-ADC, to Airnautic as F-BKBQ in 1962 and French Air Force as 42256/82-PW in 1966. Sold in the USA as N72532 in 1978 and acquired by the Mexican Air Force in 1979. Seen in storage at Santa Lucia before being placed on display within the base in 2005. Removed from display in 2020 due to construction work on the new civil airport for Mexico City being built at Santa Lucia.
