This Jaguar was hit during by an SA 7 Iraqi missile during he first French mission which took place on 17th January 1991, when 12 Jaguars launched for a daylight attack on the "Scud" missile facility at the Ahmed Al Jaber air base in Kuwait. The pilot managed to put it down at the US base at Jubail, with the rear of the aircraft badly damaged and the right engine totally destroyed. Aircraft now preserved in Châteaudun air base.
