Delivered to the Venda Defence Force as VDF-040 in 1988. Has also been reported as VDF-030. Transferred to South Africa as 8020 in 1994. Still in service in 2022. Venda was a Bantustan in Northern South Africa. It is now part of the Limpopo province. It was founded as a homeland by the South African government for the Venda people in 1979. The United Nations and international community refused to recognise Venda (or any other Bantustan) as an independent state. It was re-incorporated into South Africa in 1994.

Delivered to South African Airways as ZS-SPF in 1977. Leased to Air Mauritius as 3B-NAO and returned to South African Airways as ZS-SPF in 1988. Leased to Luxair/UTA as LX-LGY and returned to South African Airways as ZS-SPF in 1989. Leased to Namib Air as V5-SPF in 1990, renambed to Air Nambia in 1991. Returned to to South African Airways as ZS-SPF in 1998. Damaged beyond repair at Maputo, Mozambique in 1998. Had an engine fire after take but landed safely.

Catpass 250 conversion with box underneath. Registered as N3859D in 1981, N14MF in 1982 and ZS-NEP in 1992. Crashed near Koudpan, Namibia in 1993.

Ordered by the USAAF as C-47A 42-93412 but delivered to the US Navy as R4D-5 17223 in 1944. To N9577C in 1956 then to the French Navy as 17223 in 1964. To Basler Flight Services as N96BF in 1985. Converted to BT-67 #5 in 1989. Crashed in the Central African Republic in 1994.
