A late build window-less freighter delivered to FedEx September 19, 1979, this 727 was withdrawn and stored at Arkansas International Airport Blytheville, AR in November 2013. Sold to Servair Cargo as 9Q-CVZ and later 9S-AVZ.

The US Navy's first of three (and with 123 flights, the most flown) D-558-2 Skyrocket research aircraft. All but one of the flights carried out using the original Westinghouse jet engine. It was returned to Douglas in 1951 for conversion to rocket powered air launch configuration. Re-delivered, but only one shakedown flight completed in September 1956 before the program was cancelled.

Delivered to Air Canada in 1975 and withdrawn in 1991, C-GAAL was on lease to Air Transat for one year along with two other ex AC 727s. This one was converted to a freighter and is flying with Amerijet International at the time of uploading.
