698 was delivered to JBG37 at Drewitz in March 1980. The MiG was handed over to the Luftwaffe as 20+46 on 3 October 1990. The Luftwaffe serial was never taken up. It was eventually withdrawn from use at Drewitz in February 1991 and was moved to a museum at Hermeskeil in September 1998, still as 698.

Missing some necessary parts to fly as the main gear tires were left. The struts were awaiting some new ones. 105 was delivered to JBG37 at Drewitz in April 1979. This dual seat MiG had a deviating serial presentation, not large red digits like the single seaters, but black ones. The MiG was handed over to the Luftwaffe as 20+63 on 3 October 1990. The Luftwaffe serial was never taken up. It was eventually withdrawn from use at Laage in December 1990 and was moved to a museum at Berlin-Gatow in August 1996.

Lovely sleek lines of the MiG-21. 203 was delivered to the NVA and Taktische Aufklärungsfliegerstaffel 87 (TAFS-87, as pictured) in May 1972 and handed over to the Luftwaffe as 23+84 on 3 October 1990. The dual seater was withdrawn from use at Drewitz in July 1991 and scrapped at Dresden one year later.

Taken on charge of the NVA on 13 Februay 1969 and assigned to Jagdgeschwader 7, later it was transferred to JG9, and then to Taktische Aufklärungsfliegerstaffel 87 (TAFS-87, as pictured). The FISHBED went to the Luftwaffe as 22+94 on 3 October 1990. It was withdrawn from use at Drewitz in July 1991, and eventually scrapped at Dresden on 14 January 1993.

Assigned to Taktische Aufklärungsfliegerstaffel 87 (TAFS-87). This MiG-21M is receiving some cockpit inspections by maintenance at the flightline of homebase Drewitz. Serial 616, was accepted by the NVA on 12 March 1969 and was transferred to the Luftwaffe as 23+01 on 3 October 1990. The aircraft was withdrawn from use in July 1991, transferred to Dresden and scrapped at that location on 24 February 1993.

During the visit to Drewitz, the MiG was getting some avionics inspections and it carried 6648 on plates in nosewheel bay en right hand wheel bay (not visible in this picture). It was eventually withdrawn from use at Drewitz in February 1991 and moved to Rothenburg museum as 689 in May 1997.

Moments before towed away from the flightline, this MiG-23BN was delivered to the NVA in January 1980 and assigned to Jagdbombergeschwader 37. It was moved to the Luftwaffe as 20+43 on 3 October 1990. The Luftwaffe serial was never used and the FLOGGER was withdrawn from use in February 1991 at Drewitz. The MiG was transferred to Rothenburg museum, still as 695 in March 1995. In 1997 it was moved to Pendine (UK), and then dumped at Stock (UK). It was last seen heavily damaged without cockpit section.

After a long and interesting history (see AirHistory reference Soviet Transports, it arrived on a flat-bed trailer in "PanzerMuseum East" at Slagelse (Denmark) on 15 Apr'19. Seen without code and titles as Mi-8T in a fake dark greyish green/ochre camo c/s with light blue underside, no markings whatsoever from Jun'19
