Agusta brought this new A109C, N1WD, to Toronto in August 1990 to show it to prospective customers. Demo flights were conducted from Toronto Island Airport (CYTZ) where it was photographed flying past the CN Tower. The helicopter was purchased by Leffler Transportation Company. Crashed in eastern Pennsylvania on at 19:05 local time on Jan. 18, 1995 on a flight from Williamsport, PA (IPT) to a company heliport in Richland, PA (PS96) killing the pilot and two employees. Flew IFR to Harrisburg, then VFR when it entered low clouds. Probable cause: spatial disorientation, darkness and poor weather.

The first flight after Mirage IIIBS U-2001 was converted to Mirage IIIDS J-2001. The canards were the most obvious feature. Note the orange overalls of the two test pilots.

During the 80s just a few Hunters were fitted with the wiring for launching the AGM-65 Maverick. This missile was seldomly seen however.

The Hunter F58A was a secondhand series of Hunter acquired by the Swiss AF. This series was almost completely scrapped in the early nineties.
