A rather colourful Gulfstream II. Built new for Phillips Petroleum in May 1968 as N663P. To N663B in Oct 1982. To J David Dominelli as N217JD in Nov 1983. To N369AP in Apr 1985. To N500JW in Jun 1992. To Mexico where all old Gulfstream's seem to go as XA-RBS on 03 Jan 1995. To XA-RBP on 23 May 2000. To XB-OXA in 2017. To XB-PHI also in 2017. To XB-PHA in Apr 2020. Believed to be still current in 2024.

To MASDC 0n 25 August 1972. Transferred to the US Department of Agriculture and registered as N43862. To Castle air Museum in the early 1980s. The USAF markings shown here have been modified over the years it has been on display.

This aircraft made the last ever B-50 flight in December 1980 when it was flown from Tucson to the museum. It had been retired from active service in 1965, and was restored to flying condition for the one time flight, hence the "Flight of the Phoenix" name. This slide shows the markings originally on the a/c when acquired by the museum. It has since been repainted somewhat differently, including the Flight of the Phoenix colors.

This B-29 has components from three different airframes that were salvaged from the US Navy ordinance test ranges at China Lake. The fuselage is s/n 44-61535, which was the original Raz'n Hell.

This is actually RC-45H s/n 51-11897.

Originally built as A-26B 41-39472. Still on display at the Castle Air Museum.

Built as A-26B 44-34766, never served on active duty and sent directly to be sold surplus. Flew in the 1947 Bendix Race, and was converted into an On Mark Marketeer in 1961. Became N9150 in 1968 and briefly put on display at Castle Air Museum in 1982, as seen here (left side was in US Navy markings). Traded out in Dec 1984 and based at Santa Monica, CA by 1987. To Thermco Aviation of Van Nuys, CA in 1994 as N26BK and although not flown in many years it was still current with them by 2021.
