The fourth DC-6B delivered to Sabena, this aircraft served the airline from April 1953 until sale in February 1963. It is arriving at Ringway after a 9 hours 30 minutes non-stop scheduled flight from New York Idlewild and will leave for Brussels after dropping passengers and freight.

Airviews Ltd Dragon Rapide undergoing a major overhaul in a 1939-built "Bellman" type hangar at Ringway. Her fabric skirting is unfastened and open for internal inspection. "Dog Mike" served the small charter airline from 09.51 until sale in 11.56.

Newly built Firefly U.8 at Ringway shortly before its first flight on 7 April 1954. Painted in the red/yellow drone scheme and delivered to RAE Aberporth on 21 July 1954. Crashed on landing at Llanbedr on 3 May 1957 and scrapped.

"St Patrick" served Aer Lingus from December 1945 until sale in June 1963. It is wearing the second postwar 'silver top' scheme with thin dark green lining.
