D-AISY enjoyed a career as a VIP aircraft afterwards, wearing several different Saudi registrations, and later flying for African operators. The aircraft was last noted in Libya with registration 5A-DDQ in 2010.

I really like the civil exhibits in their correct historical looks. D-ANAF was delivered to Lufthansa in 1961 looking like this, the titles were updated around 1967. By january 1969 just 7 years after delivery it was taken out of service. It then became an instructional airframe for Lufthansa Technicians. First in Nora c/s then in several different Lufthansa c/s. I remember just being able to see it from the viewing area at Frankfurt in the early 90s. In 2012 it moved to the Museum at Speyer. Now it flies in close formation with the Lufthansa B747-200. They are the outdoor center piece here.

Wonderfully kept in historically correct colours, the way I remember them connecting Schonefeld and Amsterdam in the 1980s. It's been here at the museum since 1994.
