Taken when the airport was Berlin-Schönefeld in East Germany. Delivered to the East German Government as DM-SCK in Interflug colours in 1971. Transferred to Interflug in 1975. Reregistered as DDR-SCK in 1981. Allocated D-AOBB in 1990 but not used. Last flight to Augsburg in 1990 and preserved. Moved to Flugausstellung Junior at Hermeskeil in 1994.

Wonderfully kept in historically correct colours, the way I remember them connecting Schonefeld and Amsterdam in the 1980s. It's been here at the museum since 1994.

Two Russian classics, the Tu-134 and the enormous Mil Mi-6 helicopter which was a great achievement when it first flew in 1957. A Noratlas is also seen.

Russian airliners always did look good head on. This 1971-build Tu-134 was allocated D-AOBB when Germany unified, but this wasn't taken up and the aircraft made it last flight on 30 Sep 1990 to Augsburg, moving on to Hermeskeil in 1994
